Trump–Xi summit – tariff cuts and trade-truce extension

The United States and China agreed to pursue tariff reductions covering approximately $30 billion of goods in each direction ($60 billion combined) and extended their trade truce until 10 January 2027. China also committed to US coal purchases, while the governments agreed to continue discussions concerning artificial intelligence.
