Hardware wallet makers should never keep customers' home addresses

Trezor's ShipMonk breach grew to about 80,700 exposed customers on 4 September 2026 after data the vendor said it had deleted resurfaced, reviving the argument that a wallet company holding shipping records is a standing risk to its users.
