Taiwan should use public investment to help bring Alaska LNG into production

Taiwan reported progress towards purchasing six million tonnes of Alaska LNG annually and investing up to $4.4 billion in the project. The plans build on a letter of intent, with investment terms and binding commercial arrangements unfinished. The project's cost and commercial viability remained contested.
