US–Vietnam trade negotiations

Vietnam said negotiations on a US trade agreement were nearly complete, while American officials offered more cautious assessments. Outstanding issues included market access, trade investigations and regulatory restrictions. No signed agreement or resolution of the remaining tariff risks was announced.
