North Korean troop reinforcement for Russia – September 2026

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said North Korea was preparing to send another 10,000 personnel to Russia, following earlier deployments estimated at between 14,000 and 15,000 since 2024. Russia and North Korea had not independently confirmed the new deployment when reported.
