Argentina's ITLOS challenge over Falklands oil

Argentina requested provisional measures from the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea to halt British-authorised oil activity near the Falkland Islands, including the Sea Lion project. Britain rejected Argentina's position and maintained that existing licences remained valid while agreeing to engage with the proceedings.
