In an ongoing Phase 1/2a trial in healthy volunteers, Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' experimental RNA interference therapeutic ARO-MAPT administered via subcutaneous injection reduced cerebrospinal fluid total tau protein by an average of 73% at day 105 in the highest dose cohort receiving 12.8 mg/kg on days 1 and 15, with maximum individual reduction reaching 85%.
