Greenland security deal

Denmark, Greenland, and the United States announced a security agreement on September 18, 2026, expanding U.S. military access and basing rights in Greenland while maintaining Danish sovereignty and Greenlandic self-determination. Danish and Greenlandic parliamentary action is required before enforcement; signing is anticipated September 22.
