Healthcare price transparency rule

Federal agencies finalized Transparency in Coverage rule revisions on October 5, 2026, requiring non-grandfathered plans and insurers to standardize public files on negotiated in-network rates and out-of-network allowed amounts. The regulations also require telephone cost-sharing disclosures starting with plan years beginning January 1, 2027.
