Why it matters
Helps users quickly understand:
Which proposals are driving protocol and standards evolution
What’s actually progressing through the EIP process vs. just being debated
What standards builders should align to (wallets, tokens, interfaces)
Where to follow authoritative updates (canonical EIP pages + GitHub PRs + community threads)
What to publish
For each EIP:
EIP number + title
Short description (max 70 words, ideally ~50)
Tags (Standards Track / Meta / Informational)
EIP categorization (Core / Networking / Interface / ERC / Meta / Informational)
Status (use the status shown on the EIP itself; e.g., Draft / Review / Last Call / Final / Living / Stagnant / Withdrawn)
Authors / editors (as listed on the EIP)
Key topics (e.g., execution, consensus, EVM, gas, account abstraction, MEV, wallets, rollups, ERC-20, ERC-721)
Primary links
Canonical EIP page
GitHub PR / history for the EIP
Primary public channels
GitHub discussion/PR thread
Ethereum Magicians thread (if used)
Ethereum Research thread (if relevant)
Public call notes (only if clearly tied)
Implementation signals (only if verifiable)
References to client/library/wallet adoption in recognized public artifacts (release notes, merged PRs, docs)
Scope
Up to 25 EIPs, prioritized by:
EIPs tied to major protocol changes and upgrade planning
Widely adopted standards (especially major ERCs and interface standards)
Proposals with active, substantive discussion and clear momentum
Include older “Final” EIPs only if they remain foundational and frequently referenced.
Avoid niche proposals unless they have clear ecosystem impact or widespread adoption.
Potential sources
Canonical EIP pages
EIPs GitHub repository (PRs, discussions, commit history)
Ethereum Magicians forum threads
Ethereum Research forum threads (when directly relevant)
Client and tooling repos / release notes (for implementation confirmation)
Public call notes and agendas (only when reliably linked to the EIP)
