Senior Systems Engineer, Procurement Technology
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Systems Engineer with deep expertise in application and integration development across end-to-end source-to-pay technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of Block's global procurement technology stack, driving transformation from intake orchestration to purchasing and payments workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business strategy, leveraging innovation to streamline procurement operations and enable long-term growth.
Candidate Profile
Lead the discovery, design, development, and adoption of procurement solutions across the organization
Provide technology leadership and strategic guidance to business leaders
Drive integration and optimization efforts to enhance procurement efficiency
Roll up your sleeve and dive deep to solve problems as they arise
Lead technology roadmaps and architectural improvements
Configure, develop, test, and deploy system changes and enhancements
Lead system testing and validation
Manage applications like Coupa, OneTrust, Certa, Orchestration tools etc

10+ years of progressive experience in architecting procurement technologies
Strong technical knowledge of procurement workflows
Experience integrating business objects
Technical knowledge of Coupa procure-to-pay systems
Experience with middleware tools like Mulesoft or DellBoomi
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Experience with agile methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
