he talk will revolve around recent legal challenges in regards to providing crypto-asset services in the EU. Main focus will be the Markets in Crypto Assets regulation and challenges linked to providing or setting up provision of regulated crypto-asset services within its scope.
The talk will contain the following agenda:
brief overview of what crypto-asset services are regulated in the EU and require the provider to obtain an authorization
overview of legal challenges companies considering provision of regulated crypto-asset services are facing
overview of requirements companies considering provision of regulated crypto-asset services have to meet, for example capital requirements, human resources requirements, safeguarding of client funds requirements etc.
