Base developers announce stage 1 rollup status

Base, Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2 network, has officially reached Stage 1 decentralisation under Vitalik Buterin's framework. This was achieved by implementing permissionless fault proofs and establishing a decentralised security council, reducing reliance on centralised control.
