China, Thailand, UAE and Saudi Arabia were the four full members of mBridge as of late 2024, with observer participation from four ASEAN countries and four Middle Eastern jurisdictions

The mBridge is a multi-country CBDC platform that includes China but is not controlled by it. China uses the digital RMB for its role in the system. Members include China, Hong Kong, Thailand, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
