Ethereum Developers Lock in May 7 for Pectra Upgrade

Description

Ethereum core developers confirmed May 7 as the date for the Pectra upgrade, following a successful test on the Hoodi testnet. Pectra introduces 11 EIPs focused on improving wallet usability, staking and overall efficiency, including EIP-7251, which increases the maximum stake per validator from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH.
