Coinbase acquires Opyn’s leadership team

Coinbase has onboarded Opyn’s CEO Andrew Leone and Head of Research Joe Clark, in a talent-only acquisition to expand its on-chain derivatives business on the Base L2 network. The deal excludes Opyn’s protocol assets but leverages the team’s pioneering DeFi expertise.
