EY updates Nightfall as ZK-Rollup for enterprises

Ernst & Young (EY) has revamped its enterprise blockchain Nightfall, shifting from an optimistic rollup to a zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup architecture. The upgrade, called Nightfall 4, enhances privacy, simplifies the system, and offers near-instant transaction finality on Ethereum. By removing the need for challenger nodes, EY eliminates delays previously required to verify transactions.
