Plume Network launched its institutional-backed Nest vaults during the Alpha phase prior to the Genesis mainnet, enabling users to permissionlessly stake stablecoins and gain exposure to liquid and rigorously audited global real-world assets.
Users of Plume’s Nest vaults receive yield-bearing and composable RWA tokens that can be reused in DeFi protocols to borrow additional stablecoins, a process known as 'looping'.
Chris Yin, co-founder and CEO of Plume, stated that RWAfi makes institutional-grade assets as accessible and usable as traditional crypto assets by integrating them into DeFi.
More than 200 projects are actively building on Plume Network, including well-known DeFi protocols such as Morpho, Curve, Matrixdock, and others.
