Bybit experienced a major hack in February 2025, resulting in the theft of 499,000 ETH worth approximately $1.4 billion. As of March 4, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou confirmed that 77% of the stolen assets, equivalent to $1.07 billion, remain trackable, while 20% ($280 million) has been successfully laundered and is untraceable.
