Gemini secures license to expand EU crypto derivatives offerings

Gemini has obtained a MiFID II license from Malta’s MFSA, enabling it to offer regulated crypto derivatives, including perpetual futures, to advanced users in the EU and EEA. The license is a key step in Gemini’s 2025 European expansion strategy, with MiCA licensing still in progress.
