Tools for Humanity’s digital identity solution World ID, which is being integrated into Story’s IP-focused Layer 1, has its profit mechanism under development with plans to introduce a fee system in 2026 whereby any relying party will pay fees back into the World ID protocol based on their usage of World ID
Story’s Intellectual Property (IP) Portal licensing database, which is being integrated with Tools for Humanity’s World ID digital identity system, is currently in open beta
Integrating World ID into the Story network enables users to verify the IP in their wallet and set terms for how others can use and pay for their intellectual property
The partnership between Story Network and World to integrate the World ID digital identity solution into Story’s IP-focused Layer 1 is set to take effect in fall 2025
