BTQ Technologies has announced the publication of its research paper, "Proof-of-Work Consensus by Quantum Sampling," in the peer-reviewed journal Quantum Science and Technology. The paper introduces a novel quantum-based PoW consensus mechanism using Coarse-Grained Boson Sampling (CGBS). This method aims to enhance blockchain security against quantum threats while significantly reducing energy consumption compared to traditional PoW systems.
