SEC launches new unit focused on protecting investors against fraud in crypto and AI

Description

The SEC announced the creation of the Cyber and Emerging Technologies Unit (CETU) to shield investors from fraud in crypto and artificial intelligence. The unit, led by Laura D’Allaird, replaces the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit while working in tandem with the Crypto Task Force.
