Botanix’s Spiderchain protocol was purpose-built to support Ethereum-style smart contracts on Bitcoin by making the network compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
The Aragog testnet deployed by Botanix introduced the foundational tools for its DeFi ecosystem, including a BTC-backed stablecoin, decentralized exchange, and lending protocol.
