The current iteration of the testnet consists of five independent Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains operating simultaneously under Kadena’s Chainweb consensus framework. Each chain benefits from merge-mined security comparable to that of Bitcoin while supporting native interoperability for cross-chain communication.
