Babylon launches Phase-2 testnet with upgraded features

Babylon, a pioneering project that combines Bitcoin’s security with the scalability of Proof-of-Stake systems, is launching its Phase-2 testnet, bbn-test-5, on January 8, 2025. This phase introduces Bitcoin PoS and Signet Bitcoin stakes, enhanced staking tools and support for permissionless CosmWasm smart contracts.
