Ethereum developer proposes 6-second block times
Description
Ethereum core developer Barnabé Monnot proposed EIP-7782 to halve slot times from 12 to 6 seconds, aiming to boost network speed, DeFi performance, and user experience. The proposal is set to be included in the upcoming Glamsterdam hard fork, which focuses on protocol efficiency and scalability.
