Fake news? China links CBDC payments to 10 ASEAN, 6 Middle eastern countries

A widely circulated report claims China has linked its digital yuan payments to 10 ASEAN and 6 Middle Eastern countries. However, Ledger Insights found no reliable source confirming this and suspects it's false or premature. While China participates in the mBridge CBDC project, official connections remain limited.
