Casablanca

Morocco's largest city and economic hub, a busy port on the Atlantic coast. Known for its bold blend of Moorish and Art Deco architecture, it is dominated by the vast Hassan II Mosque, whose towering minaret rises beside the sea; its name was immortalised by the 1942 film.
