Coeur d'Alene

Resort city in the panhandle of northern Idaho, set on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, a long, clear lake ringed by forested hills. Once a silver-mining and logging hub, it is now known for its waterfront resort, a famous floating golf-course green, and as a base for the scenic Centennial Trail.
