Cinque Terre
String of five fishing villages — Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore — clinging to the cliffs of the Ligurian coast in northwest Italy. Car-free and linked by coastal footpaths and a clifftop railway, they lie within a national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
