An elegant city in northwestern Italy, capital of the Piedmont region, on the Po River beneath the Alps. The first capital of unified Italy and a seat of the House of Savoy, it is known for its baroque arcades, the soaring Mole Antonelliana, the Shroud of Turin, and its Fiat and Juventus heritage.
