Khinalig

One of the highest and most remote villages in Azerbaijan, perched above 2,000 metres on a ridge of the Greater Caucasus in the Quba District. Its semi-nomadic people speak their own ancient language unrelated to any neighbour, and the village and its seasonal herding route form a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape. 
