Song-Köl

A high-altitude freshwater lake in the Tian Shan mountains of central Kyrgyzstan, sitting at over 3,000 metres on a broad plateau in the Naryn region. Each summer, nomadic herders pitch their yurts along its shores, one of the most unspoiled expressions of Kyrgyz nomadic life.
