Beirut Nightmares

An experimental war novel depicting a woman trapped in her Beirut apartment during the early months of the Lebanese Civil War. Told through 197 interconnected “nightmares”, it combines diary-like realism, hallucination, symbolism and surrealism to portray the psychological and social devastation caused by war.
