Frequently asked questions

Who can become a curator? Down arrow
The program is designed for people who want to contribute to building and improving high quality knowledge. Developers, domain experts, researchers, writers, and enthusiasts are welcome.

No prior blockchain experience is required - we provide full onboarding, tools, and ongoing support.
What do curators actually do? Down arrow
Curators help organize, structure, and improve valuable public knowledge.

This can include curating sources, structuring arguments, organizing datasets, improving clarity, and identifying gaps or weaknesses in existing material.

Contributions are made within specific knowledge spaces using Geo’s tools and workflows.
How do rewards work? Down arrow
Curators earn points based on the quality, usefulness, and accuracy of their contributions.

Points accumulate over time and reflect sustained impact rather than short term activity. Top contributors who consistently deliver high quality work may be eligible for stipends.

The program is designed to reward meaningful contribution, not volume.
What tools and resources are available? Down arrow
Curators have access to Geo’s contribution tools, documentation, and training resources.

Regular community calls provide guidance and alignment, and ongoing support is available through dedicated channels.

Curators gain access to Geo Genesis, GRC-20 documentation, and training resources. Weekly community calls provide guidance, while Discord offers ongoing support from the team and fellow curators.
What is GRC-20? Down arrow
GRC-20 is a standard for structuring and connecting knowledge in a composable way. It enables information to be organized, reused, and built upon across applications rather than remaining siloed or unstructured.

You do not need prior experience with GRC 20 or blockchain technology to contribute. Tools and guidance are provided as part of the program.
Where can I get support? Down arrow
Support is available through community calls, documentation, and direct interaction with the Geo team and other contributors.

Join Geo's Discord community for dedicated support channels, weekly community calls for your spaces, and direct access to the core team and experienced curators.
How are contributions evaluated? Down arrow
Contributions are evaluated based on clarity, accuracy, completeness, and overall usefulness.

All contributions are open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Submissions are reviewed for originality and quality, with points awarded based on the value created within each space.
Will there be a token? Down arrow
We are not making any statements regarding a token.

Points have no monetary value. They serve as a transparent record of contribution quality and long term participation in the Geo network. Any future decisions will be communicated clearly and separately.
Terms and conditions Down arrow
Points have no cash value and do not represent ownership, equity, or future entitlement. Participation does not guarantee any rewards. The program may change or end at any time.

Participation is governed by the program’s Terms and Conditions, which outline eligibility, contribution guidelines, intellectual property, and evaluation criteria.
